Outhouse Studios Other Art Gallery/ MountainSails                                        About This Piece                              Dan Beck Enlarge As the title suggests "Mountains Sails" is an image which though abstract conjures up lake and mountains. The figures in the foreground suggest either sails or mountains themselves and much of the time both. It is an excellent example of how the computer can overlap transparencies. The painting was done quickly and loose and is one of my older favorites. I find it to be pleasing to look at as well as being peceptually fascinating.
